‘All Your Happy Life’ is a wonderfully fully-formed second effort from The Wytches: from start to finish the sound doesn’t compromise its jagged raw edge, while still finding room to develop.
‘C Side’ is an instant attention grabber, and they don’t relent. ‘Ghost House’ builds itself to a crescendo of chaos; ‘A Dead Night Again’ and ‘Dumb-fill’ are haunting.
Closer ‘Home’ brings this exciting step forward to an end: polished-but-not-really suits The Wytches perfectly. Steven Loftin
