We’re not the only ones down in East London today – The Kraken is in town for its latest Kraken Crawl too

For one night only, rum fans can indulge their taste buds with East London inspired cocktails.

As you probably already know, your good mates at Dork are currently ‘down’ at the Old Blue Last in trendy East London, ready for the final instalment of our month-long new music festival Etc. – but we’re not the only ones.

On Thursday, 26th July (i.e. today), The Kraken® Black Spiced Rum is wrapping its tentacles around London’s East End for its latest Kraken Crawl. Capturing the spirit of the East, The Kraken has clouded the region with its iconic, dark spirit and a twist on four classic cocktails.

The cocktails have been crafted to perfectly pair with the area’s most famous hangouts, so followers of the sea creature can enjoy the darker side of life as they crawl through its streets and taste London like never before.

For one night only, rum fans can indulge their taste buds with East London inspired cocktails and be hit with trending taste notes ranging from turmeric through to black tea and cockney influenced ‘apple and pears’ cider.

Starting and finishing in E1, the Kraken Crawl will celebrate the unveiling of The Kraken Mural on Great Eastern Bear. From 16th July to 12th August, prepare to be awestruck by a giant piece of photorealistic artwork. This unique piece will incorporate 3D elements to bring the mystical beast to life and is set to turn a few heads.

Providing a perfect Insta-backdrop for East Londoners and passers-by, those tagging themselves with the beast will also be in with a chance of winning a range of amazing prizes, from diving courses to mural masterclasses, as well as free cocktails to redeem at the below participating Kraken Crawl bars.
