CHVRCHES played the last festival show of their current run in support of 2021’s ‘Screen Violence’ at Glastonbury this afternoon (23rd June).
Going up against one of the biggest acts on the planet in Foo Fighters might be a challenge, but by now, they’re a tight, perfectly balanced machine. With Lauren Mayberry as a focal point, ‘Never Say Die’ even brings a bit of crowd participation into play. Proof Scotland can still make bands that the rest of the UK simply couldn’t, they’ve long since elevated themselves to one of the very best.
