She dropped her second album ‘The Good Witch’ at midnight. She’s on the cover of the latest issue of Dork. She’s playing a plum slot on Glastonbury 2023’s Pyramid Stage. It’s fair to say that Maisie Peters is on a roll right now.
But it’s deserved, too. Her set is the kind of sparky, peppy delight that shows exactly why Big Pop has found a home in the fields of Worthy Farm. Full of bops and bangers, the sheer force of personality Maisie projects is sure to win new fans. Or, as one Dork scribe in attendance put it, “Maisie Peters was so good. Like actually wow”.
