The Wombats headlined Thursday night at Truck Festival, and it looked like this

Show up a day early, get some indie anthems.

You have to get something good for showing up early, right? That’s the deal at Truck Festival, who kicked off their 2023 edition last night with a special line-up for those pitching up a bit before the rest. Featuring a bunch of Very Good Bands, the bill was topped by The Wombats, who brought their big-time indie anthems along to get the party started. We had our intrepid snapper Patrick Gunning on hand to capture the action.

Dork’s Down With Boring will be on site this Saturday and Sunday (22nd and 23rd July) for two live editions, featuring Circa Waves, DMA’s, Everything Everything, Panic Shack and STONE. You can get more details on that here.
