The 1975 say they plan to release new music next year

  • Dork News Desk
  • September 30, 2016
The 1975 have had a pretty epic year: huge tour dates, a Number 1 album, a Mercury Prize nomination…

But they’ve not been so busy they’ve not been thinking about new material, with frontman Matt Healy revealing on Twitter last night that they may release new music next year too:

Whether that’s a one-off track, a contribution to a film soundtrack, or even the follow up to second album ‘I like it when you sleep, for you are so beautiful yet so unaware of it’ – we’ll have to wait and see.

In the meantime, the band are going to tour the UK this December:

DECEMBER

13 MANCHESTER Arena (UK)

15 LONDON O2 Arena (UK)

16 LONDON O2 Arena (UK)

17 NEWCASTLE UPON TYNE Metro Radio Arena (UK)

19 GLASGOW SSE Hydro (UK)

21 BOURNEMOUTH BIC (UK)

22 CARDIFF Motorpoint Arena Cardiff (UK)
