The 1975 are teaming up with the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra for Radio 1’s Live Lounge month

  • Dork News Desk
  • August 11, 2016
Radio 1 are holding their annual Live Lounge month in September, and they’re finishing it off with a huge show from The 1975.

As part of a month of sessions, kicking off with Justin Bieber from his LA home, there’ll be performances from Biffy Clyro, Blossoms, Jack Garratt, Christine & The Queens, Bastille, Mura Masa, Zara Larsson, Twin Atlantic, Dua Lipa and loads more.

It’s the final set that really stands out, with The 1975 performing in the Blackpool Tower Ballroom for a special hour long set with the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra. That one sounds a bit special.
