404 have released their second ‘project’, ‘Guild Two: Forever’ – out today (Friday 18th October).

The London-based collective have previously teased the release with ‘Blind Spot’, their first new material to arrive since the passing of founder member Silvertongue (Mina). It also features drums from black midi’s Morgan Simpson.

A statement from the band explains: “Blind Spot is Mina’s song and was recorded not long before she tragically passed away this past May. The track serves as a testament to Mina’s talent as a writer and musician.

“Amongst ourselves we all have our own strong connections with the lyrics, but it’s important to us that the writing is allowed the space to speak for itself. Mina’s voice will resonate forever.”

Also on the release are ‘Acid Rain’ and ‘Jenny’, plus loads more – have a listen below, and catch the band live at White Hotel in Manchester on 22nd October, and fabric in London on the 23rd.
