5 Seconds Of Summer have announced a new album ‘The Feeling of Falling Upwards – Live From The Royal Albert Hall’

It will be released digitally on 14th April, with physical copies following up on 14th July.

5SOS have announced that a new live album is on the way. They will commemorate their 2022 London show with ‘The Feeling of Falling Upwards – Live From The Royal Albert Hall’.

It will be released digitally on 14th April, with physical copies following up on 14th July.

The Royal Albert Hall is a special venue for the group, having busked outside it when they first moved to the UK to write for their first album 10 years ago. The performance saw them reimagine versions of songs from their back catalogue, as well as tracks from their fifth record ‘5SOS5’. They were accompanied by a 12-piece orchestra and a 12-member gospel choir.

’The Feeling of Falling Upwards’ is simply supposed to describe to you the feeling that we have experienced together, the feeling of taking a leap of faith on such a fickle thing like music,” expressed vocalist and drummer Ashton Irwin on stage at Royal Albert Hall, “And sharing this experience together year after year, season after season of our lives.”

The band have also announced their 2023 World tour, which includes dates across the UK, EU and America. They will play Glasgow, Manchester and London in October. UK fans can pre-order the album through the band’s store by Tuesday 11th April at 6PM BST for the opportunity to get early access to tickets to the UK dates on Wednesday 12th April at 10AM BST. General on sale begins on Friday 14th April at 10AM BST.
