A brand new music and arts festival has just launched in the Lake District

The first names include Hayden Thorpe and Kate Tempest.

Hayden Thorpe is going to perform at brand new music and arts festival, Aerial.

Set to debut in the Lake District from 26th-29th March 2020, the festival is aiming to “bring a contemporary twist to the area’s renowned art forms, celebrating the Lakes as a place of continued inspiration for the next generation of artists.”

“We’re so excited to be able to produce a festival of this calibre against the unique backdrop of the Lakes,” says Sam Hunt, one of the event’s founders. “It’s been an inspirational place for so many and it’s fantastic to be able to welcome artists who have been influenced by the area to perform at the inaugural Aerial and importantly create new work inspired by the Lakes.”

The first announcement includes not only Hayden, but Kate Tempest, and The Lark Ascending, a retelling of Richard King’s book. Visit aerialfestival.com for tickets, and more information.
