Adele has postponed her Las Vegas residency: “It just ain’t ready, I’m really sorry”

The twelve week run was supposed to start this weekend (21st January).

Adele has been forced to postpone her Las Vegas residency due to delivery days and coronavirus cases within her crew.

The run – originally set to kick off this weekend (21st January) and run for 12 weeks at Ceasars Palace Colosseum – are her first proper live dates since 2017.

Speaking in a video message posted to social media, Adele explains: “I’m so sorry, but my show ain’t ready. We’ve tried absolutely everything we can to put it together in time and for it to be good enough for you, but we’ve been absolutely destroyed by delivery delays and Covid.”

“Half my crew, half my team are down with COVID. They still are, and it’s been impossible to finish the show and I can’t give you what I have right now. I’m gutted – I’m sorry it’s so last minute, we’ve been awake for over 30 hours trying to figure it out and we’ve run out of time. I’m so upset and I’m really embarrassed and so sorry to everyone that travelled again. I’m really, really sorry.”

She goes on to say the dates will be rescheduled and that they’re “gonna finish my show and get it to where it’s supposed to be. We’ve been up against so much and it just ain’t ready, I’m really sorry.”

Adele released her latest album ‘30’ last year. You can check out her update below.
