Alex Lahey has covered ‘Torn’, which wasn’t an original Natalie Imbruglia song anyway

We. Are. Shook.
Alex Lahey has provided us with a cover for the ages, offering up her take on Natalie Imbruglia classic ‘Torn’.

Recorded for Triple J’s ‘Like A Version’, ’Torn’ wasn’t actually originally an Imbruglia song – it was originally record by Danish singer Lis Sørensen, and later by American band Ednaswap before Imbruglia released her version in 1997.

We know. Our world is shaken.

Wile there, Lahey also performed ‘You Don’t Think You Like People Like Me’ – stripped back to a self-declared “emo banger” – and revealed her album is coming this October.

Check out both tracks below.
