Alix Page has released a new video for ‘How Could I’.
It’s a track from her not-long-released second EP ‘Goose’, which also features her previous singles ‘4Runner’ and ‘Automatic’. She released her debut EP ‘Old News’ back in 2022, too.
“The video concept came about because the song to me sounds a lot like something that would play in a ballerina music box,” she explains. “My best friend, Ava, who stars in the video, and I grew up dancing together from the time we were 6 until I stopped when I was 11.
“I recently started taking ballet classes for fun at school, and kind of fell back in love with the movement and the meditative aspect of it. I was able to kind of show Ava the types of movements I wanted in certain sections, and she really was able to take it to the next level.
“I think it ended up being really special; despite being best friends for the last 14 years we’ve never really gotten to do something like this that combines both of our passions. She’s been such a huge part of my life for so long I was so happy I finally found a way to bring her into my musical world.
“I hope you can tell how much we love each other and how much time we’ve spent together through the video.”
