Allie X has added some new shows to her October UK tour

  • Stephen Ackroyd
  • March 8, 2022

Allie X has added a trio of new dates to her forthcoming UK tour.

After being forced to reschedule the run last month, there’s now new shows in Birmingham, Bristol and Glasgow this coming October.

They run in addition to the already revealed dates in Manchester and London. Tickets for the new dates go on sale this Friday, 11th March at 9am.

The UK leg of the run now reads:

October
21 Manchester Gorilla
23 Birmingham O2 Institute 3
24 Bristol Thekla
25 London Electric Brixton
27 Glasgow King Tuts.

When rescheduling the UK and European dates of the run last month, Allie explained:

“I am rescheduling my European dates. I really didn’t think I was going to have to do this again, and waited longer than most to announce the original rescheduled dates because I wanted to avoid it. However, going to the EU and risking the complications and dangers that the pandemic currently presents to your safety, my crew and my livelihood, are more than I’m comfortable with. I’m truly sorry. I know some of you get time off work or even fly from other countries for my shows.

“The new dates will take place in October with upgrades in London and Manchester (because you sold those cities out) and many new cities, which we are finalizing right now. All tickets will be valid for the new dates, and if you can’t make it and need a refund you can get that from your point of purchase.

“Thank you for your patience, this has been a really challenging time for all of us in live music. If you can just be patient with me until I can get this tour on its feet safely, I’ll give you the best performance I possibly can.

“The North American tour that starts in April is going forward, and I have no plans to postpone currently. Sending love to all of you. Can’t wait to share this show with you, I’ve been working hard on it.”
