alt-J have announced a special 10th anniversary show for debut album ‘An Awesome Wave’

alt-J have announced a special live performance to celebrate the 10th anniversary of their Mercury Prize-winning debut album ‘An Awesome Wave’.

The band will play the album from start to finish for the first time – alongside other material from their back catalogue – at London’s O2 Brixton Academy on Tuesday, 17th May.

Tickets for the show go on sale next Friday, 22nd April, at 10am.

Set to take place during a larger already announced run in support of most recent album ‘The Dream’, the back explain: “To celebrate the ten year anniversary of the album that changed our lives, we are thrilled to announce an extra show at Brixton Academy where we will play An Awesome Wave in full. We know how much this record means to our fans and can’t wait to turn back the clock to 2012 with them in London’s best venue.”
