Alt-J are working on album number 3 – and they’re doing it at Abbey Road

There’s strings, brass and we’re guessing some new tunes on the way from the trio
Can you believe it’s now been nearly three years since Alt-J dropped their second album ‘This Is All Yours’? Well the guys certainly do, hence why they’re cracking on with another studio album that looks like it’s gearing up to be another brain-stormer.

With recent studio photos laid out on the band’s Instagram, it looks like the guys are working away on the record at the famed Abbey Road studios – with brass and strings ticked off the list for things you can definitely expect to come from it.

So expect it to be bloody spell-binding stuff once again, which we might get a smidgen of when the band head out this summer for a run of festival dates that so-far include slots at NOS Alive, Mad Cool and Rock Werchter amongst many more – so keep your ears peeled!

Check out the pics for your own glory below, it looks like Alt-J’s next one is going to take things even further – so you might as well prepare from now.
