alt-j’s new hip-hop reworking of recent album ‘Relaxer’, ‘Reduxer’ is out now and streaming online.
“It’s no secret that we love and are influenced by hip-hop,” the band explain. “It’s always been a dream of ours to work with hip-hop artists in re-imagining our music.”
The new full-length features tracks ‘reimagined by a host of fans, friends and peers, including a globe-straddling cross-section of some of the world’s most influential and prolific hip-hop artists and producers’, including Danny Brown, Paigey Cakey, GoldLink, Lomepal, Kontra K, Rejjie Snow, Tuka, PJ Sin Suela and Little Simz.
