alt-J have released a final new album taster, ‘The Actor’

It's the last preview we'll get ahead of the release of 'The Dream' this Friday (11th February).

alt-J have released their latest preview of their forthcoming album, ‘The Dream’.

Titled ‘The Actor’, it’s the final song to arrive ahead of the album’s release this Friday (11th February).

Speaking about the track, the band explain: “Hollywood, 1982. Another hopeful young movie star arrives in search of The Dream. What follows is a tale of desperation, drugs and death in LA’s most famous hotel. It’s ‘The Actor’.”

It follows up on the already revealed ‘U&ME’, ‘Get Better’ and ‘Hard Drive Gold’.

alt-J have also announced a run of intimate shows in association with Independent Record Stores throughout May, as well as an extra date at London’s O2 Brixton Academy as part of a forthcoming tour. The dates read:
