Irish alt-popster April has released her new EP, ‘When It Comes To You’.
Featuring previous singles ‘Hotel’, ‘Piece of Me’ and ‘Someone That I Made’, April explains: ‘When It Comes To You’ is a collection of songs about love, mostly about questioning relationships and feelings and being young and feeling things very intensely. Being 22 now, I’ve realised I fall in love fast and a bit too much, but I wouldn’t change it. The EP reflects on that I think, and the songs capture a time in my life from 2020 to now. It was written throughout lockdown and finished recently, I’m so happy for it to finally be out.”
Commenting on one of the new EP tracks ‘Circles’, April continues; “‘Circles’ is about wondering if you’ve ever felt love, thinking about different feelings you’ve felt for different people and how every time it is never the same. It’s also a love song about wanting to spend the night with someone, because in the end it doesn’t really matter because it never works out”

April has also announced a new headline show at London’s Courtyard Teatre on 24th May. It’ll come after a short run supporting Matilda Mann starting later this month.
