Arcade Fire are playing the reopening weekend for London’s KOKO next week

Arcade Fire have announced a brand new London show for later this month.

Next Friday, 29th April. the band will play London’s KOKO as part of an opening weekend line-up for the London venue, which has just completed a £70 million restoration and redevelopment.

Arcade Fire, who haven’t played a London show since 2018, are set to release their sixth studio album ‘WE’ on 6th May. Tickets for the show will be available from midday on Thursday, 21st April, with pre-sale access available to fans who pre-order ‘WE’ from the band’s official UK store. The show will also be live-streamed on Twitch by Amazon Music UK.

The band have been previewing the record with a number of secret shows, including a run at New York’s Bowery Ballroom last month, and a last-minute Coachella set over the weekend.

The rest of KOKO’s opening weekend will feature techno icon Luciano on Saturday, 30th April, with Central Cee playing two shows in one day on Sunday, 1st May.
