Arctic Monkeys are about to share a new single, ‘Body Paint’, from their upcoming record, ‘The Car’

The Sheffield rockers will drop their seventh record in full on October 21st via Domino.

Arctic Monkeys are due to drop ‘Body Paint’, a new cut from their seventh album ‘The Car’, today, September 29th.

The track follows ‘There’d Better Be A Mirrorball’, which marked the band’s first new material since 2018’s divisive ‘Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino’.

Body Paint’ was given its live debut at Brooklyn’s 3000-capacity Kings Theatre during an intimate performance last Thursday (September 22nd). Whilst in New York, Arctic Monkeys also recorded a musical appearance for Jimmy Fallon’s The Tonight Show which is due to air tonight – it seems this will be the song’s first appearance on television.

BBC Radio 1 has announced that Arctic Monkeys will feature on Clara Amfo’s Future Sounds show tonight, as the single becomes their ‘Hottest Record In The World’.
