Former Dork cover star Arlo Parks has released the latest single ‘Pegasus’ off her upcoming album ‘My Soft Machine’, a collaboration with Phoebe Bridgers.
“’Pegasus’ is about experiencing the warmth and lightness of good love for the first time,” Arlo explains. “It also explores how the absence of chaos and the presence of real connection can be a little bit terrifying after a long time of not having it.”
The accompanying music video was inspired by films like ‘Gerry’, ‘My Own Private Idaho’ and ‘Paris, Texas’, and follows a dreamy desert setting.
The album ‘My Soft Machine’ will be released on May 26th and has already been teased with three previous singles: ‘Weightless’, ‘Impurities’ and ‘Blades’.
