Artificial Pleasure are a bit mean to frontman Phil in their new ‘Wound Up Tight’ video

New EP ‘Wound Up Tight’ is due for release next week.
Artificial Pleasure have shared a video for their track ‘Wound Up Tight’.

It’s the title-track from their new EP, which is due for release on 8th December.

“Sometimes we’d rather have something that isn’t ideal, than have nothing,” frontman Phil McDonnell says of the song.

“I’ve seen it in relationships that even though it’s not working, the thought of them being with someone else is the worst thing of all.”

They’ve a headline show planned – their last of the year – just after the EP drops, at London’s Lexington on 12th December.

Artificial Pleasure are currently hard at work on their debut album, due for release early next year.
