Swaggering into view with the sort of banger-filled confidence that makes you want to get off your feet and shake the person next to you – Anteros have delivered a seismic one with new groover ‘Drunk’.
Punching with the sort of classic pop hooks that’ll have you bowing down in no time, ‘Drunk’ comes with a fresh video which finds frontwoman Laura Hayden going on a pretty shambolic Valentines date – which y’know, can only be helped with a few drinks here and there (and of course a full band to back you up).
Speaking about the track, Laura said: “I think of all the things I want to tell you but I can’t, I’m going to let them go. I’m just drunk and in love with you.”
‘Drunk’ sits nicely as the title-track of the newly announced ‘Drunk EP’, set for release on April 14th and continuing a year that has already seen Anteros span across the country supporting Two Door Cinema Club. The band will celebrate the EP’s release with a nifty night at London’s Sebright Arms on April 27th – coming after a string of support nights with White Lies and Blaenavon respectively.
Dive into ‘Drunk’ below, believe us – you won’t be able to stop yourself from playing it over and over…
