Ashnikko has unveiled an in-your-face new one – teaming up with Grimes on latest track ‘Cry’
The two minute pop thunderbolt is another go-to sign that Ashnikko is on course for mammoth things – blending PC Pop and hooks galore in style. It also marks the first new music heard from Grimes since the release of latest album ‘Miss Anthropocene’ earlier in the year
Speaking about the track, and the collaboration with Grimes, Ashnikko said: “I have wanted to work with Grimes for 100 million years and now it’s happening…a dream! She is singing with me on an angry ass song about my ex-best friend sleeping with my boyfriend…sublime!!!”
Grimes (clearly pressed for time, which is okay – busy days at the moment) added: “Ashnikko rules and the song is great”
‘Cry’ comes complete with a must-watch music video, with the animated clip blending with photoreal CGI and Anime-inspired moments for a gory out-of-this-world trip
