AURORA has dropped a brand new track.
Titled ‘Forgotten Love’, it follows up on the recently released ‘Queendom’. Delicate in the verses and bombastic in the chorus, you can check it out below.
AURORA explains: “Forgotten Love is an individual song – which I really like about it. I think people can find many different personal meanings in it, as is its mission.
“For me it’s about how I felt sorry for every day I forgot to grieve for someone I lost. After the years went by I suddenly woke up realising I hadn’t even been sad for months. I’ve just lived. Like he would want me to and in that moment, I didn’t feel guilt. I didn’t feel heavy or sorrowful. Just relieved. And it was quite beautiful. Being able to forget.”
We’re presuming ‘Forgotten Love’ is part of the same “bigger body of work” that was mentioned around the release of ‘Queendom’ back in May. AURORA is set to hit the UK this October, where she’ll play Manchester Academy on the 10th, before following up with a show at London’s Kentish Town Forum a day later on the 11th.
