Austra are back to teach us some ‘Future Politics’

Check out the video to new track 'Utopia' now.
2013 feels like A Lot Longer Than Three Years Ago in ‘the world of music’. That’s how long it is since Austra released last album ‘Olympia’. It’s time to get all familiar again, though.

The band are back with a new album, ‘Future Politics’, out early next year on January 20th via Domino. Leader Katie Stelmanis explains it’s an album that calls for “a commitment to replace the approaching dystopia. It’s not about ‘being political,’ it’s about reaching beyond boundaries, in every single field.”

The announcement comes alongside a video for new track ‘Utopia’, which sort of has us looking worryingly at our Amazon Echo. You can check it out below.
