Automatic have announced their new album ‘Excess’

Check out a new single from the record, 'New Beginning'.

Automatic have announced the release details for their second album, ‘Excess’.

The trio – Izzy Glaudini (synths, lead vocals), Lola Dompé (drums, vocals) and Halle Saxon (bass) – will release the full-length on 24th June via Stones Throw. Alongside the news comes a new single and video, ‘New Beginning’, which you can check out below.

‘Excess’ is described in a press statement as riding “the imaginary edge where the ‘70s underground met the corporate culture of the ‘80s” – or, as the band puts it, “That fleeting moment when what was once cool quickly turned and became mainstream, all for the sake of consumerism.”

The band will hit the UK in May. You can find the dates after the video below.
