Axl Rose officially confirmed as new AC/DC frontman

At least for this summer's live commitments, anyway.
Axl Rose is officially the new frontman of AC/DC.

The legendary band were forced to reschedule tour dates after their vocalist Brian Johnson was told to stop touring on doctor’s orders or risk losing his hearing.

An official statement from the AC/DC reads: “We are dedicated to fulfilling the remainder of our touring commitments to everyone that has supported us over the years, and are fortunate that Axl Rose has kindly offered his support to help us fulfill this commitment.”

With Rose also fronting a reformed Guns N’ Roses classic line-up across a US tour this summer, he’s set for a busy 2016. He’ll be over in Europe next month with AC/DC, with dates in London and Manchester this June.
