Glasgow’s Baby Strange have debuted a new single, ‘Friend’.

The track is taken from debut album ‘Want It Need It’, with both set to drop on September 2nd through Ignition Records. It’s a 100mph slammer that fits a glorious din into two minutes and fourteen seconds. Short and sharp.

“’Friend’ is about this girl that came to a party we were at, no one knew who she was and she was a bit of a mystery,” says frontman Johnny Madden. “After she left people started freaking out about things being missing, like my keys. I still don’t know who she is and she probably has no idea we wrote a song about her. When it comes to playing the song live people usually climb over the barrier and get involved in a stage invasion, it’s always a riot playing that song at the end of the set and we’re buzzing to put it out as a single.”
