Bad Sounds have dropped another new track taken from their forthcoming debut album ‘Get Better’.
Titled ‘Couldn’t Give It Away’, the fresh cut is described as “the band’s most personal to date”, and is based around loss and the following grieving period.
“I hated the idea that I was getting over losing someone I cared about and felt guilty every time I caught myself not thinking about it. I don’t like the goal being to ‘move on’ when something like that happens but it’s obviously something you can’t avoid,” says the band’s Ewan Merrett.
‘Couldn’t Give It Away’ was given a first spin by Annie Mac on BBC Radio 1 last night – following up on five previous Hottest Records. You can check it out below.
‘Get Better’, the debut full-length, is set for release on 17th August via Insanity Records, and features previous singles ‘Wages’, ‘Evil Powers’ and ‘Avalanche’.
