Baywaves’ latest track ‘I’m Tryna’ is a perfect for lazy summer (or spring) days

It's from their upcoming EP, out in a few weeks.
Baywaves have unleashed the second track from their upcoming EP.

‘I’m Tryna’ is another lovely slice of psych-pop, and it’s taken from ‘It’s Been Like’, which is out on 18th May via Art Is Hard.

“Since the release of our first EP we’ve lived things we wouldn’t even dream of a couple of years ago: we’ve toured around Europe, we’ve spent countless hours on a car or waiting for a plane to depart always listening to music and we’ve seen amazing bands play: some we already knew and some great discoveries,” the band explains.

“Our second EP is a result of all that: a collection of songs that talk about being happy, being homesick and sharing every moment of your life with three other people. Each one explores a different musical scenario: they are the result of all the music we’ve played and listened to for the past two years, from lo-fi funk to avant pop. We recorded them after the Summer with Hans Krüger (Delorean, John Talabot, Half Japanese) in his beautiful studio in Subiza.”
