Beacons Metro announces first acts

Local Natives, Hookworms and Anna Meredith are among those playing.
Beacons Metro returns this autumn, with a batch of events running from 27th October to 7th November.



Among the first bands announced are Local Natives (pictured), Roots Manuva, Hookworms, Anna Meredith, Aj Tracey, Elf Kid, Frisco, Ghetts, The Invisible, Jamie Isaac, Junk Son, Wall and Xam Duo.



Now in its second year, the event sees gigs being held in Belgrave Music Hall, Headrow House, Holy Trinity Church, Howard Assembly rooms and Leeds’ universities.



“The Beacons Metro series gives us the chance to bring together our some of our favourite, and some of the most exciting musicians around,” says head booker, Ben Lewis.
