Beat Degeneration have shared a new video for ‘Feet In The Sand’; it’s a happy, sunny clip, matching the track’s beachy, carefree vibes.
‘Feet In The Sand’ is taken from the trio’s second album ‘Searching For Some Heaven’, which they recorded with Charlie Rowell from the band Crocodiles. It’s due on 20th April via Seattle label, Jigsaw Records.
“Recording the album was a hustle and bustle of musicians coming and going on the island,” the band explain. “Riccardo Pecchi the brother of Piero, for example, helped us a lot with backing vocals lyrics and general ideas and Liviano Mos did all the keyboards and helped us a lot with technical stuff.
“Working with Charlie (the guitar player in Crocodiles, the producer of this album) was amazing! He had a great influence on our mood and on our music and he was always positive, incredibly nice and humble. Actually, we thought It was a great Idea going on an Island all together to record an album. Leaving all behind and focusing on making music and expressing our feelings. No pressures, no stress, no internet, just us!
“I think that I organised the things in this way because I was missing my real friends. I feel alone in this world where everyone thinks about his own social media life, I feel that we are losing really important things every day… I guess that the meaning of this album is that we can still make good memories all together. I guess that people feel incomplete like I do and in the end, I guess that everyone is still searching for some heaven.”
