Belle and Sebastian have surprised fans with the announcement of their new album, ‘Late Developers’, set to be released this Friday, 13th January.
The first single from the album, ‘I Don’t Know What You See In Me’, can be streamed now. It marks the band’s first co-write, featuring young pop composer Pete Ferguson. You can check out the accompanying music video, directed by Andrew Litten, exclusively on Facebook here, or stream the track below.
‘Late Developers’ follows closely on the heels of Belle and Sebastian’s Top Ten album, ‘A Bit of Previous,’ released in 2022. The album includes tracks such as ‘Juliet Naked,’ which is described in a press release as featuring a “rugged electric guitar and a football stadium worthy chant from Stuart Murdoch,” and ‘When The Cynics Stare Back From The Wall,’ an unearthed 1994-era track featuring Camera Obscura’s Tracyanne Campbell.
