BENEE has shared her new track, ‘Happen To Me’.
It’s the latest cut from her imminent debut album, ‘Hey u x’, set to arrive on Friday, 13th November. Her first full-length features Terry Hoff-designed artwork, and guest spots from Grimes, Lily Allen and Flo Milli.
“This song is super important to me,” she says. “It’s the opening track [on the album]. It’s the first song where I’ve written about anxiety. The lyrics are pretty dark. Life is pretty crazy right now, and I think it’s important to talk about this kind of stuff.”
