Biffy Clyro have announced a warm-up show for their Isle of Wight headliner

They've a new date in Scarborough.

Biffy Clyro are going to play a show in Scarborough this summer.

The trio will perform at Scarborough Open Air Theatre on 14th June, before headlining Isle Of Wight Festival on the 16th.

The news arrives following the release of their brand new soundtrack album, ‘Balance, Not Symmetry’, which arrived last week. It will be accompanied by a film of the same name, which saw frontman Simon Neil collaborate with director Jamie Adams, on 26th July.

Simon explains: “On meeting Jamie, we realised early on that we’d both had to deal with grief at a relatively young age and so it was interesting to talk about how we’d both dealt with it and the effect it had on us – and this is the main crux of the film, delving into the lonely world of grief and loss and coming out the other side.”
