Billie Eilish has become the youngest artist to write and record a James Bond theme song, with confirmation she’ll be providing the title track for the 25th film in the franchise, No Time to Die.
Billie had teased the rumour earlier today, when she posted a number of photos of past Bond girls to her Instagram. The as-yet-untitled song was written by Eilish and her brother Finneas, and is set to premiere on 2nd April.
“It feels crazy to be a part of this in every way. To be able to score the theme song to a film that is part of such a legendary series is a huge honor. James Bond is the coolest film franchise ever to exist. I’m still in shock,” Billie explains.
No Time to Die, directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga and starring Daniel Craig in his final appearance as James Bond, hits cinemas in the UK on April 3rd.
