Birmingham bunch Riscas debut new single ‘Talk Your Mind’

Perk up your day with some jaunty indie pop.
Birmingham boys Riscas have dropped their debut single, ‘Talk Your Mind’ – check it out below.

The track follows on from demo ‘Panic Like Tom’ – which featured on BBC Radio 1’s daytime playlist while racking up loads of listeners online – and is the sort of jangly, dancable number that’s a staple of indie discos up and down the country.

“We each have our individual music tastes which can range from hip-hop to shoegaze,” explains guitarist Eph Dodd, “we tend to throw ideas out there until we feel we have something that represents us.

“For example, I personally was listening to a lot of Viola Beach and The Night Cafe (who we recently supported on their recent tour) to inspire my guitar lead for ‘Talk Your Mind’ – we really hope people enjoy it as much as ‘Panic Like Tom’!”

The band are hosting a single launch party tonight at the Sunflower Lounge in their hometown – pick up tickets here.
