Black Country, New Road have announced their debut album, ‘For the first time’

It'll be with us next February. Check out new track 'Science Fair' now.

Black Country, New Road have announced their debut album will be with us early next year.

Recorded earlier in 2020 and finished up during Lockdown, ‘For the first time’ is set to arrive via their new label home of Ninja Tune on 5th February 2021.

“This is basically representative of our first 18 months”, explains frontman Isaac Wood. “We see this as being a stop in the road. I’ve always been interested in a really honest portrayal of what a band is and what they’ve been working on. I think it’s really nice if people can see an artist like: this was them in the early days, this was their next phase and that they’re quite clear and honest about genuine progression as people and musicians.”

So there we go.

The news comes alongside a new track ‘Science Fair’, which probably isn’t one for your top pop bops playlist if we’re honest. You can check it out below.
