Blaenavon are set to play a cracking gig in…. Blaenavon

  • Dork News Desk
  • April 13, 2017
Blaenavon are absolute diamonds. Their debut album ‘That’s Your Lot’ is an absolute stormer, and looks set to land in the charts come Friday – so it’s about time that the trio look back on things right? Maybe like announcing a headline show in the town they’ve named themselves after?

Well, they’ve gone and bloody well done it

The headline show in Blaenavon (located in South Wales) will take place at the Blaenavon Workmen’s Hall on May 10th, and is set to feature an appearance from renowned local troup – the Blaenavon Male Vocal Choir. So a whole range of Blaenavon action all going on in one place.

Speaking about the show, frontman Ben Gregory said:

“We owe a lot to the people of Blaenavon. We’ve blatantly ripped them off but they’ve still always supported us. We’ve been talking about a show there for years and now seems like the perfect time. Pretty bonkers that the Male Voice Choir are up for it, too. It’s going to be the perfect ridiculous celebration of everyone’s hard work over the last 5 years. A battle to the death. Blaenavon vs Blaenavon.”

The former Dork cover stars went in depth about their debut album ‘That’s Your Lot’ when we caught up with them, with the full cover feature available online right ‘ere. Capturing a band who are set to become something truly special, it’s an absolute corker if we do say so ourselves.

Tickets for the show are available from the link here.

The time has come. To celebrate this phenomenal week we are heading to @VisitBlaenavon w/ @BlaenavonMVC on 10/5https://t.co/a8vDqzxmhG pic.twitter.com/DSLsSFlMKG
