Blaenavon have debuted the video for their comeback track ‘Catatonic Skinbag’

  • Dork News Desk
  • February 5, 2019

Blaenavon have shared a video for their comeback single ‘Catatonic Skinbag’.

The first taster of the band’s forthcoming second album ‘Everything That Makes You Happy’, the clip was directed by London based creatives Homer & Farley.

As frontman Ben Gregory explains: “The video reflects a pretty miserable time in my life. Living in a cycle of self pity and sensual self-indulgence. Harris and Frank knocking on my door but I’m too busy soaking in stagnant bath water to answer. The song is a bit of fun but the theme is pretty severe: “always tired, lacking desire to feel enough to start the day.”

Blaenavon have just finished up a support run with The Wombats (which you can check out a ‘behind’ the ‘scenes’ feature on here), and will head off on their own headline tour this May. They’ll also play Reading, Leeds and Community festivals this summer.

Check out the video for ‘Catatonic Skinbag’, and those headline shows, below.
