Sabrina Teitelbaum AKA Blondshell has released a new song, ‘Cartoon Earthquake’.

It is her fourth single of the year, following ‘Olympus’, ‘Kiss City’, and ‘Sepsis’.

The track has arrived as a Spotify Single via the Fresh Finds developing artists program, which Blondshell was selected for alongside seven other independent artists, songwriters, and producers.

Described as “a wholly modern blast of sunshine”, the new song seeks to test the commitment of a new lover.

“‘Cartoon Earthquake’ is about the uncertainty that comes with falling in love,” Blondshell explains. “I wanted the earthquake metaphor to be as dramatic as possible, because in real life I was trying to play it cool. The song is my version of the famously annoying internet question ‘would you still love me if I was a worm?’ but instead it’s ‘would you risk your life and jump over a crack in the ground to be with me?’”

You can listen to ‘Cartoon Earthquakehere.
