Blood Orange is coming to the UK later this year for a Shepherd’s Bush Empire show

Does this mean his new album's imminent?
Blood Orange – aka Devonté Hynes – has announced a new London show.

He will play Shepherd’s Bush Empire this October, which suggests – if you squint your eyes a bit – that he may be due to drop his new album in autumn.

Hynes has been teasing his next record for ages, explaining in a Q&A at The New Yorker Festival that “a lot of the new songs on the new album deal with growing up and childhood in [Illford, London] England. Looking at the country that made me.”
