Blood Orange unleashes ‘Freetown Sound’ early

Giving the masses exactly what they want, three days earlier than planned.
Instead of waiting for this Friday’s scheduled release date, Blood Orange has only gone and dropped his anticipated new record ‘Freetown Sound’ early.

Dev Hynes third record under the Blood Orange moniker, is seen as one of his most personable records yet, with Dev himself saying when the record was announced:

“”I have just finished making an album about my life, my upbringing, being black in England, being black in America…my movement to this country at the age of 21, the same age that my mother moved from Guyana to London, and my father from Sierra Leone to London,”

You can check out ‘Freetown Sound’ on all streaming platforms now. Blood Orange is set to play KOKO on July 5th after appearing at British Summer Time on July 2nd.
