Blossoms bring their debut to Reading & Leeds: “We can’t wait to see the crowd’s reaction”

The band arrive with a Number 1 album under their belts.
It’s been a whirlwind few weeks for Blossoms, with the release of their Number 1 debut album, and tour dates being announced all over the shot. This weekend, they’re coming to Reading & Leeds.

“We can’t wait!” says frontman Tom Ogden. “We did Festival Republic Stage last year and that was great, so to be going into the NME / BBC Radio 1 tent with our album almost a month old we can’t wait to see the crowd’s reaction.”

“I was at Leeds with Myles [Kellock, keyboards] in 2012 before we were friends,” he continues. “I saw him jump on someone’s tent and they kicked him in the head whilst he was on the floor.”

Ouch.

The band play Reading later today (Saturday 27th August) and then Leeds tomorrow (Sunday 28th August) on the NME / BBC Radio 1 Stage, alongside Fatherson, Sunset Sons, Whitney, Netsky, Jack Garratt, Nas, Two Door Cinema Club and more.
