Bombay Bicycle Club have shared the title-track from their upcoming fifth album

'Everything Else Has Gone Wrong' is out in January.

Bombay Bicycle Club have shared a new single from their upcoming fifth album.

‘Everything Else Has Gone Wrong’ is out on 17th January – accompanied by loads of UK shows with The Big Moon, who also have a new album imminent.

“It seemed to encapsulate everything the album is about,” says singer/guitarist Jack Steadman of the record’s title-track. “For my whole life, I haven’t been very good at expressing myself with words. The irony is that the song is about not wanting to write lyrics, but it has lyrics I’m really proud of. And after that, we realised a lot of the other songs had that theme, of music as a cathartic refuge.” The driving, insistent beat builds to a middle eight that could sum up the story of the band’s last five years: “I guess I’ve found my peace again, and yes, I’ve found my second wind…”

Check out the song below, and catch them on the road throughout January and February.
