Boy Bleach have released a new single, ‘East End Boys’.
Out today (Friday, 19th May) via Parlophone, it follows on from the Leyton band’s debut EP.
“East London is our home, and has always been for most of us,” they say of the track. “We’ve grown up in an area where every town around us has been gentrified to shit and we’ve noticed the shift in our community. Our home became a trend and it diluted the sanctity of what made it our home, so we wanted to create something that felt like an account of the life and death of our home. Long live East London innit.”
