Boygenius debuted a new song over the weekend, ‘Boyfriend’, during their performance at the Forest Hills Stadium as part of the Re:SET festival.
The trio, consisting of Phoebe Bridgers, Lucy Dacus, and Julien Baker, introduced the track by stating, “We’ve never played this song, but this is for all the boyfriends here. We love you.”
Re:SET festival faced some weather-related cancellations over the weekend. Severe conditions forced the closure of a stage at Suffolk Downs, where LCD Soundsystem, Jamie xx, and IDLES were scheduled to perform.
