Brighton retro-poppers Thyla drop their new single, ‘Tell Each Other Lies’

The band's new single is out tomorrow, alongside a show at The Hope & Ruin with Femme.
Brighton newcomers Thyla have shared their new single, ‘Tell Each Other Lies’.

The four-piece’s latest track is out ‘properly’ tomorrow (Wednesday 29th November), but you can hear it in all its dream-like fuzzy retro-pop glory a little early.

“’Tell Each Other Lies’ is about saving face, burying your doubts and frustrations for the sake of avoiding an argument,” the band explain.

“The tune has a somber start but as it grows the lyrics flip things around and it talks about how you wouldn’t change much anyways.

“It was an awesome experience recording it, we experimented loads with the guitars it was pedal mayhem. We look forward to smashing it live at our next run of shows.”
